A note to members in Australia and in ALL EU countries:
Your seed is now being inspected by the Scottish Government inspectors, and I hope to receive this back maybe next week.
Please be patient, and do not ask where your seed is now.  All updates will be posted here as soon as we have more information.
Thank you,
Richard

My seed order arrived today in Olympia, Washington, USA.  Thanks to everyone who had a hand in making this happen 😊 Now the fun begins for me!

I sent USDA Permit page and green/yellow stickers for my seed order in USA, and they are to go to San Francisco (ie Daly City),
Have my documents been received to you guys, I think this might be my second inquiry.  I hate to bother you but I need to know, so that I can send again.
I may have deleted my original message, or it is erased, may I have the contact information to whom I should direct my inquiry.
Thank you,
Cecile Shepard

Update for USA and New Zealand members:
I have heard about the first orders arriving with members in USA and NZ today 8 February .
These orders had not been inspected, so they will be the first to arrive.
It is up to inspectors in your country how long they take to inspect, if at all.

For all seed orders:  Please allow for delays in the postal system, waiting until after 18th February 2024 before enquiring about your seed. All seed correspondence, lists and queries can be sent to seed@srgc.net. We will ensure that emails reach the relevant manager.

Update for members in Europe (including Northern Ireland).
You may be starting to wonder what has happened to your seeds.  As you know, Brexit has caused us all big problems because all seeds entering the EU and NI from non-EU countries (including the UK) must now have a phytosanitary certificate which takes time and money to obtain.  Your seeds are in a large consignment which is now being checked by the Scottish Government Seeds inspectors in Edinburgh for them to provide Phytosanitary Certification to allow them to be sent from the UK into the EU.  I hope to receive the phytosanitary certification in, maybe, one or two weeks.  Then your seeds will be enveloped and posted on to you.  I hope you will receive them eventually in (perhaps) the second week in March.  Please be patient for a little longer.  Apologies for this delay which is entirely out of our control.

Update for members in Australia.
Your seeds have now been mailed to Australia.  They are in one box, and when they arrive will depend on the postal system, and how long it takes for any checks by the Australian Border Inspectors to check the seeds against the phytosanitary certificate and manifest.  Huge thanks to our helpful contact in Australia, who will then have to make up your individual orders from the combined box, and mail them onwards once the seeds arrive.

The EU is apparently competing with Australia? In the end Australia is faster :-)

Bernd,
There are more seeds going to the EU than Australia.  Checking therefore takes more time...

The Seed Seed Team thank you for being patient while we negotiate all the difficult trade barriers which are being built across the world by more and more countries.  This week's update:

Update for members in Europe (including Northern Ireland).
Your seeds are now en-route to the EU.  We are hoping for a safe and quick journey through EU Border Control.  After this, our helpful member on the EU side of the phytosanitary border will have to do some work, and your seeds should be then be sent to you.

Update for members in Australia.
Your seeds have now arrived in Australia, and are being enveloped and mailed to you.  Some seeds have already been hand-delivered in Victoria.
