Pyrola asarifolia in bloom here today. I read that it is close to P. minor but minor's style does not project beyond the petals. The P. asarifolia is certainly tiny and very hard to photograph leaves with flowers.

That is a delightful little gem. Especially I'm taken with it because, as I mentioned in Kristl's My Bit of Heaven thread, P. asarifolia is the only species in the genus we are permitted to bring into NZ. This means that someone must already have imported it pre 1992. I wonder who it was and has he/she still got it now?

Leslie - We'll see if it sets seed then you can lose your mind try to sprout it!

Doubt if either of us will do much carpet bedding with them.

Maybe the approved shortia method? But I haven't had any joy with that either.
