Placea arzae or ornata seeds wanted
« on: March 29, 2022, 06:02:31 AM »
Hi guys,

I’m looking for seeds of Placea arzae or Placea ornata. Chileflora offered them in the past but I fear they won’t do again.
Does anyone have some spare seeds? I’m willing to pay them and the postage.

Many many thanks in advance and a good growing season to all!

Kathy

Kathy, I didn't get the PM.

However, I don't have seeds to spare.  I received only four, and sowed them immediately. They haven't germinated yet.

The AGS doesn't list the donors of their seeds.  However they might be offered again next year.

Kathy,

Both are offered by Chileflora; but they are out of stock until November.

Hi Diane,

if you only got a few seeds then it would be indecent to ask you to share them…. Thanks for the advice with the AGS, could you tell me what this abbreviation stands for?

Best wishes
Kathy

Kathy: the AGS is the Alpine Garden Society:   www.alpinegardensociety.net
They, like the SRGC, have a members' seed exchange. :)
