Title: Saxifrage question
Post by: shelagh on May 10, 2022, 02:09:17 PM
Can anyone help identify this Sax. It has a label Jaroslav next to it but we don't think that's correct, as it  is supposed to b white.

I think you may be right Maggi, thank you. Brian and I have searched through Malcolm's book but couldn't see anything quite like it.

Neil Huntley describes the cultivar as "new" so perhaps it's too new for Malcolm's book ? https://www.plantswithaltitude.co.uk/product/saxifraga-jaromir/?msclkid=a3ffcc09d14f11ecac9aaaba3267c7bc

Slack Top  also describe it as new.
It was apparently named by Jaromir Grulich, a Czech grower,in around 2006 ........

No doubt it is Jaromir Shelagh. We got it from Gerd Stopp some years ago. It is a really good doer. JohnnyD
