Essentially all commercial stock (with the exception of Janis Ruksans’) has virus to varying degrees.
It’s a bonny plant without the virus!

I have to say they do look like speciosus. Not what you ordered ........but then again, you didn’t order the virus either.

I'm doing same with similar plants, although I'm not sure that it is virus, but in any case it is not normal - may be damage of bulb mite, may be other development problems. This autumn destroyed 11 such plants.

Wondering if the double petal (left under)of this crocus laevigatus fontenayi is because of a virus. Or is it just a little mistake or frost damage?

Today this seedling popped up in my garden. The pattern looks very regular, nevertheless I´m uncertain whether it´s virus-effect or not?

Looks as virus, better to destroy!

Thank You, Janis! It´s the first time I notice anything like that in my borders. There are a lot of Crocus tommasinianus ´Eric Smith´seeding around, and I imagined it might have been just a very strongly marked form.

Better destroy 10 healthy than to leave 1 virus-infected...

Thank You for Your advice, Janis! I don´t grow a precious collection of species or varieties, but over the last 30 years I had many nice seedlings appreciated by visitors. It would be a pity to to loose them to virus, indeed.
