Hi all ,
by my visit on the island of Karpathos I found in the mountains these plants -knows anybody what this is ?
It must be rare -I saw only one this group of plants -they grows on calcy rocks in light shade

Hans it's very similar to alpinus and calazonus or their hybrid. I dont know where the species come from

But I shure that this plants are growing there natural .....please look the habitat :

It looks too big and tall to be either
DD alpinus
or
callizonus.
But the whitish plant with it looks interesting. Any ideas as to what that is?

Hi Hans,
This one looks like Dianthus fruticosus, but it's really hard to identify Dianthus with picture. Usually several pictures are needed, at least plant, leaves, calice and petals
