But do I read it correctly,no shipping to the U.K. ??

That's a mistake, Chas - Hagen made a  mistake with the listing  and  he hasn't yet worked out how to change it. It was the first question I asked him when he started listing!    Yes, he will ship to UK .

I really like ‘Schmalhans im Grünen’, it's increasing steadily and is a lovely 'drop.

Galanthus ‘Schorbuser Lampion’ is a plicatus-gracilis hybrid with a well-chosen name.

Schorbus
Schorbus is a hamlet of Drebkau near Cottbus in the federal state Brandenburg, Germany, home of the finder.

Lampion
The beautiful globular outers with the long claws  look like a lampion while the green coloured marking on the inners turn from green to a warm yellow orange. All this stands in nicely contrast with the green ovary. Interesting is the fact that the claw elongates as the flower develops so that the inner shade of colour even can be seen when the flower is closed.

Hagen's G. 'Schorbuser Lampion' is quite an amazing introduction. I will be watching this one. What great fun. Rick

indeed - a fantastic colour combo (and I always like those with gracilis in the genes); would like it to get together with this plicatus of mine with interesting coloured inners!

Hi to all,
I decided to put one of mine for the first time in my life for sale. My nickname is: cephalanthera1
I placed a unique form of Galanthus nivalis, which I will soon describe and officially name: 'Forest Muse'.

It has yellowish outer petals. The inners are yellow, but when the flower develops they are still green. After it opens they are turning into pure yellow. It does not matter if the plant is disturbed or settled down. Both features will appear.

I am pleased (for Chris) to see that the bid price has increased about tenfold since I looked yesterday.
Almost in Scotland.

Echoed Chris & Maggs, that result verged very close to breaking into the Top 20 snowdrop prices!  ;D ;D ;D
