I grew lilliums from a garden center 5 pack and they grew very well in a pot the size of 7-10 liters.
I did not do anything with them they had good soil so I did not even feed them.
Later that would have been nececary.
They have looked good for atleast 3 years.
It was on a south balcony in Sweden. Minimum -15C in the winter and normally 0C and maximum 30C in summer and normally 20C.
Just having good soil and a lot of it makes them flower well I think together with good feeding.
