Primula in window boxes

(1/3) > >>

Gellytroch:
Hi folks

I haven't posted for a good while but I thought I would share a couple of pics of my primulas in window boxes. A bit of a random selection here. All plants originally came from Susan Tindall's excellent Timpany Nursery in Spa, Co. Down.

Gail:
Those are so lovely - such a good use of a windowsill!

Gellytroch:
The plants are a mix of marginata, pubescens and auricula types.

P. 'Linda Pope', P. x 'Zoe', P. x 'Crimson Velvet'

P. x 'Susan', P. x 'Lindum Rapture', P. x 'Pat Barwick'

P. marginata' Adrian Evans'

P. x 'Mustard Sauce'

P. x 'Piers Telford'

Gellytroch:
Thanks Gail

That early splash of colour always gives me a lift in the Spring.

They're beautiful Dave.  Do you grow them under glass then move to the windowsill for display?  Very effective.
