I suppose that earlier blooming of Crocus seedlings is caused by more even moisture regime with deep sawing.

Thanks for the reminder, Ian. I forgot I'd decided to try your delayed sowing technique. I'd been wondering what was in that box at the back of the fridge.... ???

Last sommer I harvested seed of Narcissus serotinus in october after the first flower. This year I harvested the fresh seed of Acis autumnale opranthum. I am still waiting for fresh seed Narcissus serotinus which still are flowering.
