Very nice autumn flowering snowdrops! Here I have tried them, but they never come up early enough to flower before cold comes, and after one or two winters they disappear alltogether. So I will wait for the ones which flower after winter:).

Today I got Anne Repnows book in the mail, and it is so good to think about spring with it. It was sent from Germany a week ago Monday so it was quite fast to arrive here in just a little over a week.

Galanthus reginae olgae in my garden in Portugal - courtesy of some friends here in the forum that sent some bulbs last year.
In this photos are the few flowers that were left after heavy rains we had in early november. By that time, I counted 8 seedpod in the larger group.

The plants look very healthy, and I hope they will increase for the next season.  ;) 8)

Well done Jaime 8)
They're flowering at the same time here, but under glass.
Thak you for the bulbs, Ashley.  :)

These were in flower for quite long time, actually. The set of bulbs from Kurt Vickery are very vigorous and gave lots of flowers, can it be 'Mette'? Also 'Tilebarn Jamie', with 3 flower stalks (the bulbs were much smaller), looks rather content.

Very happy with the results, Galanthus reginae-olgae looks promising here!

Gail, Paddy Tobin would be a good person to ask (although I haven't seen him here for some time).  See this article on Irish snowdrops for example (top of page 6), but Paddy might be able to give you more information.

Well done Jaime, they look very happy with you.  It will be interesting too to grow more from the seed.

Thanks Ashley, that is useful. I've sent Paddy a pm but according to the members stats he hasn't been on the forum for over a year.

Paddy spends  his  time  on Facebook these  days  and  on his  blog  - I'll  pm you  his  email  - or  you can  use the  contact  form on his  blog. He  should  have  got  your  pm  though.

Im 2009 he  didn't  have  this  one though - https://www.srgc.org.uk/forum/index.php?topic=4674.msg127440#msg127440   - perhaps that  has  changed!
