As you can expect this is only a part of the collection.  Pitty nobody else has the same addiction.

I'd love to indulge more in alliums but they are almost impossible to import into Australia as seed - I think it has to be fumigated or something equally destructive and expensive!

From what I have seen on TV, all post goes through x-ray machines which show organic matter.

Can anyone identify this Allium please?
I bought the bulbs as A. caspium, which I now find it isn't.
It looks similar to that described as A. caspium yellow green (Rare Plants).
I suspect that this is another example of a misnomer being perpetuated.
I would like to rectify this with your help.
It stands about 45 cm tall, the umbel is about 15 cm dia. and the stem is round.
Any ideas??
