Loughborough 2012
« on: March 04, 2012, 10:50:27 AM »
I notice that apart from Ron's offer of a lift there has been no mention of the AGS show in Burleigh College on Saturday 10th. March.
With any luck and no bad weather, sick animals or other trauma to prevent us, we shall be going.

I'm sure all the usual suspects will be there. Hopefully some pictures from Harlow will appear shortly. I was there but didn't take my camera. Good show but no plant deemed worthy of the Farrer Medal. Best in Show went to a Corydalis sp. I can't remember (it's an age thing). Sections B & C were fairly well populated which was good to see. Maybe by Loughborough I might even have a plant or two worth staging.

I'm taking the guy above in flat cap and sunglasses, and I will be in my red Forumist's sweatshirt. Between us, we should be easily spotted if you want to avoid us! ;D ;D

In which case we have no chance of spotting you. I'd suggest a T-shirt with your name in large letters across thefront and back ;)

Well I shall be taking pictures in the raw. Lousy lighting at that venue.

I hope that doesn't mean what it can mean round here. If it does, they're going to need to turn the heating up.
