Arnold, I have never seen Lilium leucanthum in reality. But when I compare my plant with your picture and all the pictures online it really looks similar.
I read somewhere though that the filaments should be hairy, "densely pubescent". I canīt spot that, not with my own eyes. Did you see it on yours?

I think you have to dissect the flower and pull the filaments out and examine with a jewelers loop to see the hairs.

In Stephen G. Shaw's book "The lilies of China" he describes  the filaments  of L. leucanthum as "densely hairy at the base"

Well, I took a close look at the filaments with a loop: some are hairy, some are not. Some are green, some are white.
I think only time will tell if this is the species L. leucanthum or a hybrid derived from leucanthum.
This year I receives the bulbs in March and potted them up indoors. When I plant them outside colours may change and perhaps more characteristic features will show.

I have grown this lily from seeds labeled Lilium monadelphum. It flowered this year for the first time, and it doesn't seem to be true.
Could it be L.ciliatum? Pictures were taken a week ago.
