Stunning aren't they?  Those selections are really beautiful Ian; it seems that var leichtlinii shows most variability in flower colour.

If my (1 year old  :'() seedlings eventually produce anything remotely as good I'll be delighted.

The Teco's definitely remain very highly ranked among my very favourite alpines !
You certainly don't have any problems capturing the "true blue" like a lot of us have.  :-\

Ashley, there is no reason why you should not have some super variations in your seedlings... one of the nicest reasons for growing from seed... the chance of something different 8)

Luc, I agree, Ian seems to cope well with the blues.... but he was certainly getting "the blues"  when he was working on the photos of var violacea...... the air was blue, too  :-X
