As far as I can work out you can't now visit the Saxifrage garden without having to pay because they've blocked off that part. Previously you could access the Saxifrage garden by going through the nursery.

Can anyone confirm?  Does that mean on the Saxifrage day you have to pay the £7.50 each to get in?

that is good news. It's a pity I can't get to see the garden at other times, I am fairly local and it's an interesting place at any time of the year.

since that post I've now confirmed they have opened up the access to the Sax section again so you can visit for free.

Adrian Young,   Registrar for Saxifraga, International Cultivar Registration Authority, has sent news of the next open day at the Saxifraga Plant Heritage Collection at Waterperry Gardens ......

Saxifrage are a wonderful and diverse group of plants – don’t miss The Silver Saxifraga which will be in flower at this time.

The Waterperry Saxifraga Day 2024  will be on Saturday 25 of May, 10 - 4 Entrance free
Come and see the largest collection of Saxifraga in the UK grown in raised beds with lots of other Alpines
Also in the Alpine nursery 500 different large Hosta.
