Pontus Wallstén Plants New Facebook page
« on: August 15, 2014, 08:15:59 PM »
Hello Everyone,

I have just created a facebook page for my nursery, where you can see regular updates of plants in bloom at the nursery and showgarden.

In time I will create more albums with plant show pictures, as well as individual albums for the separete geographical areas of the show garden, which I have been working on since last october, and which are now more or less finished.

There is the shade area, with plants from China, Japan and the Himalayas, as well as India and Korea. Then, in full sun, there is South Africa, Canada, Central asia, Turkey and the middle east and  Europe. Then there is the fragrant garden, the autumn flowering rockery, as well as "the veterans" corner, with unkillable plants which have stood the test of time in the garden for over 10 years now. :)

Here is the link to the page :

Videos will also be added shortly,

Pontus

We should have this other info too, Pontus :

"A small nursery based in Perroy, VD, Switzerland, specialising in rare and unusual plants that you cannot find in your local garden centre."

yes thanks Maggi, I couldnt remember if I had already posted the website on the forum when I created it or not, but it does have more in depth descriptions and photographs of the plants, while the facebook page is more of an in depth look at the nursery and show garden, I will try and make it a bit like a "walkaround" tour tool for people who for instance live abroad and cannot come and see the garden :)
