Title: Bulblog 30 2011
Post by: gote on January 17, 2012, 05:33:50 PM
I am trying to catch up with the bulb logs and arrived at 30/2011.
I cannot see that anyone answered the question about the identity of the Lilium so I will have a go at it.
It is difficult to be sure without seeing the whole plant but it looks like belonging to the  lankongense - duchartreii complex. I would call it lankongense because it is pink. The keys differ between pink an white and between raceme and umbel. However, all four combinations seem to be possible.
Cheers
Göte

Thanks, Göte  - I'll draw this to Ian's attention.
I think we did decide it was likely L. langkongense.... don't know why he wrote that he thought it might be american  :-\
