Your garden looks fantastic, Ian and Maggi - what a joy it must be. The dappled sunlight is just the 'icing on the cake'.

Absolutely stunning. Ian you have the benefit of having many species flowering together and making a tapistry.

In my garden I have mainly single species flowering over many months

snowdrops are followed by
Crocus that are flowering with
Eranthis
followed by daffodils along with Anemones, Pushkinias
and the few Erythroniums I have are up

Your beds are what I aim to have

Just caught up with Logs 11 and 12 this afternoon.  Ian and Maggi,  your garden is simply amazing.  I must try harder to get more planted out.  I find Corydalis malkensis seedlings popping up all over the place but solida seedlings are usually close to the parent.  I have a patch of Corydalis seedlings in mainly reds and purples and move ones I like to where they will have more space.  The whole lot really need splitting.  It's amazing how fast things are growing.  I took a few pics on Tuesday and this afternoon things seem so much farther on.
