Post by: Andrew on March 20, 2008, 08:52:40 AM
I do not know if Ian is being modest, but can anybody else see the picture of Corydalis Craigton Red  ;D.

PS Superb Fritillaria chitralensis and Erythronium hendersonii last week Ian.

Modest was never in my description Andrew, I have just missed it by stupidity.
I have now sent it to Fred and it will be on as soon as he is around.
 :P ::) :o :( ;)

Edit : Fred has fixed it now! 17.34 pm 20/03/08

Ian broadcast LIVE from our garden into the BBC Radio Scotland gardening programme, the "Beechgrove Potting Shed" today.....in the middle of a snow storm, too! This link takes you to the BBC webpage, where there are a couple of photos, a nice link to the Bulb Log,( or Bulb Blog, as they  term it) and to the "Listen Again" facility for the programme. http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/radioscotland/programmes/beechgrovepottingshed/
Perhaps I should tell you there is also a link to Ian's "spicy apple packets" recipe, too.....  ::)

Unfortunately I can't listen to the programe from down here. I don't have the Realplayer thing installed and can't find it but Ian's spicy apple packets sounds really good and I'll try them soon. New Cox's Orange Pippin apples are at the Market now.

Lesley, you can download it free - just Google in "realplayer download".  It didn't take too much time to download and you will be able to  hear the programme.

Cheers,

Susan
