What a lot of flowers. You (Maggi?!) will be kept busy dead-heading!
I was wondering what (if any) feeding regime you use in your sand beds (in the bulb house and outside). Do you grow the plants lean and hard or give them a little something, perhaps a bit of potash at least?

PS-I can see Don Stead expanding out now in your pics, it always look good, of all the hoops the colour is quite special.

Matt, I have spent some time today removing the dead Nacissus flowers because they were so wet and running mouldy- I do not think we are going to get a Narcissus seed this year.
I have not fed any of the sand beds, inside or out, yet my intention is to feed them only when and if the plants show signs of a deficiency -then I will feed only what they require.

I would have loved to attend World of Bulbs but only just read about it
Fab display in your houses

To be honest, Mark, with the miserable weather and pitifully low light levels this winter, I'm amazed anything has bothered to grow at all - a triumph of hope over expectation, I think.
I see every little blossom as being a shaft of sunlight!
