Hello Bernd,
Wonderful plants! How long have you been growing the Cymbidium hookerianum? It is looking great! Coelogyne tsii is a new one for me, and I had to look it up. It seems that the name has changed (several sites now list it as a synonym for Coelogyne ecarinata). In any case, it is quite beautiful, and seems to be very uncommon, at least in Canada.

Hi David, thanks for asking. Things are definitely looking up after a sh**ty 2017. I'm heading for another bit of surgery later this year, just to tidy things up a bit.
Pleiones nearly all potted up, but it is cold here at night, even in tropical Marlow. I am no longer heating my greenhouses as there is no need to force the little darlings for shows. At my advanced age the van hire companies don't want to play, and without a van there is no show. I miss it a bit, especially the opportunity of seeing and chatting to so many orchid friends in person. But I don't miss the work and stress.
Hope all is well with you.

I bought this Brassia (I think it is 'Eternal Wind') several years ago in flower. No flowers since until now, but it has elongated out of the pot and is now constantly in danger of tipping over, made worse by the flowering stem. It has also been a bit cramped so the flowering stem is rather messy - must take greater care of it in future!

Paphiopedilum armeniacum
-the flower first opened on the 3rd of May, it is currently still in flower.
Whilst the plant itself is quite small the flower is surprisingly large.

It certainly is a large flower, compared to your life size giraffe.
