Red poppy field

Fairy castles

Yemen, what a country ... Haraz mountains, Socotra, Sana'a, Hadramaut, the empty quarter.... a country of stunning, mind altering beauty...and the friendliest of people.

Home from work with a cold; raining outside; what else to do but play with photoshoping plant pictures?

I accidentally broke the flower stem of the Delphinium when I planted it out and cut the rose before the rabbits got it.
Thought they looked good together.  The rose is one of the old hybrid Scotch Roses but I do not know its name.

This is fun - realistic paper flowers  : "Seattle-based paper artist Kate Alarcón has an uncanny ability to turn paper materials into lifelike flowers and plants. Alarcón works primarily with European crepe paper in various weights to create delicately rippled petals, stems, and has even perfected techniques to craft convincing succulents."
