ian mcenery:
Here are a few piccies from Loughborough

he first is the Farrer medal plant

and the second an exhibit of 6 from one of our forumists which won a First

Maggi Young:
Oh, Ian, how lovely, thank you! Please tell us who grew these wonderful plants? That Farrer winning H. nobilis is super. But so are these others, looks like it was a really nice show. Hope you enjoyed your day and thanks for taking the time and trouble to come home and post for us.

Maggi Young:
Just love the Asarum in the six pan, and the A. delavayi too. In great condition. And that Cyclamen mirabile......what foliage!  Have you an idea about the parentage of that fat pink Dionysia?  I love it!

Note from my Chum, the Newt, he tells me the fat pink dionysia is D. 'Chris Grey-Wilson', the parentage is D. viscidula x freitagii

ian mcenery:
John Gennard was the six pan but I forgot - old age - to make notes on the others and probably spent too much time talking.

If you are into Dionysias there were some large and purrrrfect plants

When Iget some more time I will try to post a few more

Maggi Young:
Well done, John G, for that lovely six pan.
Don't worry about the details, Ian, it is the plants that are most important ! Looking forward to more!
