I do like a bargain!
« on: November 07, 2007, 09:12:05 PM »
Had a trip today to a little and reasonably local nursery I haven't used before (no mail order so all of you need not rush) and came back with:-
Cyclamen cilicum
     "           "     forma album
a big pot of Galdiolus papilo
Haberlea rhodopensis
Sprekelia formosissima x 2
Haemanthus albifloss
Zephyranthes labuffarosa
Lapeirousia divaricata (I went for L. oreogena but he had lost it)

When it came to paying time the bill came to £11 (15.8 Euro)

I shall be back on numerous occasions ;D

Goodness gracious David. Surely that's a VERY BIG spend, for you? :D Some nice plants there though. I envy you the white Cyc. cilicium.

Lesley, you're welcome to seed at the end of this season if you like (& bank voles permitting!).

David
You really can't lead us on like this without telling us who the nursery is! It's too cruel >:(

Now, Sue, I though your car was very sick :'(... you surely cannot be thinking about such a long trip south just for retail therapy?  ::)

Maggie the car is now better, and I'm not completely ruined financially, but Devon is just too far for a day trip! However you never know who else might be passing and open to a bit of persuassion. ;D
