Giles, so good of you to share your visit with us. Some hot colours there to cheer the dark days of February.

Since we have lost the Wisley Alpine Log I'd like to move this thread over to the Wisley section to keep up the interest there. 8)

;) :D :D As you know, Giles has brought us some great pictures from Wisley in the past , so he has been catapulted, innocently and unaware, into the post of Wisley reporter.

I hope Giles will be happy to continue his occasional photo report from his Wisley visits.... I know there are many out there who very much enjoy seeing what the Alpine Dept. there has on show.

That puzzled me... checked Plantlist...
http://www.theplantlist.org/tpl/record/kew-283352    synonym of Wurmbea stricta.

Enjoying the plants, Giles.... and  I'm getting a little brain stretch at the same time!

Camellia 'Francis Hanger' is not one I know.... that single white flower is super. The foliage looks in good order, too.   Is it a large shrub, Giles?

Does that incredible "Snowdrop cyclamineus" of Reply 12 come up anywhere in any of the innumerable Galanthus threads? Surely even I would have noticed that one.
