Has anyone seen the optical illusion on the frozen pond? As the page is scrolled down an invisible duck walks down the page

Michael - Interesting, we always found them difficult. They were plagued with cotton mouth here and always too shy to add salt. In early teens a friend and I did oscars, other cichlids, white clouds and gouramis. Sold the oscars to a department store for several months until they grew up and ate all their other fish. End of two careers.
It is surprising how many plant nuts started with fish.

Mollys naturally come from brackish water. I have seen them in salt water tanks also. A sick molly is so horrible to see.

Mark - We always passed them along to a friend the moment we saw problems. The fear was the salt would kill the other fish. Only tried them a few times before big Axelrod book came out. True, I've seen some hideous mollys in the big box stores, usually ones that have not died within the first few weeks.

I think it was probably more to do with the quality of the water than any skill on my part.

Based on the extraordinary quality of your plants I somehow doubt that.
