Looking for clematis species seed

Does anyone know where seeds of any of the following clematis can be obtained?
I am coming up empty with google.

albicoma, baldwinii, coactilis and socialis and morefieldii.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Yep, I joined NARGS last year hoping to get some interesting clematis seed.
I did manage to get some texensis seed, I have several seedlings of the Austin form at the moment.
Hoping I can get them through their first year.
So far have had no germinations from the Tarpley River form, the seeds look pretty green but am still hoping.

I've got a plant of coactilis but it has decided not to flower this year.  If I managed to root cuttings would you be able to receive them from the UK?

 I wish I could help with those as I am looking for them also. Sadly, socialis and morefieldii are federally listed and therefore likely to remain rare. On the plus side, morefieldii is far more common in its narrow distribution than previously thought. 13 new populations were found last year in Tennessee.

 I have coactilis, but the seed is usually parthenocarpic -- none this year.

 Are you looking for all species? I am "assisting" in a potential revision of the Viorna complex in the southeastern US by growing the species in a common garden (1 of 3, or more) to compare plasticity. I just acquired C. carrizoensis, a versicolor like plant from east Texas. There are likely several new species that will be described in the next few years.

Hi Arnold, thanks a lot for the offer but I have lots of integrifolias. It's amazing the different shapes and colours you can get from integrifolia seeds.

Have a bunch of morefieldii on the go (and may still have some seed in freezer from my correspondent--sadly not wild collected). Easy to ship to NB next season.

Also have wild origin seedlings of glaucophylla, viorna, reticulata, texensis, fremontii, pitcheri....or course hirsutissima, scottii and columbiana var. tenuiloba (but i think you have all these already).

I am still looking for the other 4 as well, to complete my viorna section collection.

One starts out with the garden clones, then slowly replaces them all with wild origin seed.

Aaron is the champion in terms of being closest to these species in the wild!!!!

I have scottii ( never flowered), viorna, not sure if it species or an hybrid, columbiana var tenuiloba ( one left, they seem to croak on me after they flower) and hirsutissima ( tiny)
Have an ochroleuca that flowered a few weeks ago, the seed came from GN for that one. It is a purple and cream colour, it is tiny perfection.
I also have several tiny texensis seedlings that I am praying won't die.

I do have some glaucophylla seedlings also tiny but I don't think they are what they are supposed to be.
Have just seen a picture of a wild crispa in North Carolina, gorgeous little flower with a very wide brim.
Nothing like any of mine.

If you find yourself with excess seedlings, I will be more than happy to take a few off your hands.

you will know how far off the deep end i am---i don't even grow a single large-flowered clematis or cultivar.

oh yes, i forgot about the C. ochroleuca---almost time to collect that seed.

i am a bit overwhelmed still this year...but have just put up a 50 foot greenhouse, which should be operational in about 2 weeks--at which point i can get all the pots organized to see what is there. also still hundreds of clematis seedlings germinated inside the zip locks, which need potting. i will aim for next spring. a promise.
