This spring has provided one of the best flowerings in our garden that I can remember. The weather has clearly been a factor, with dry spells during the first three months of otherwise normal precipitation, and very nice and dry weather April and May...

We have a wildflower meadow with 15 native species of orchids, all introduced as seed that we have spread with the help of a gentle breeze. To see a video go to YouTube and search for Newmill: creating a wildflower meadow with orchids.
