OUR PEOPLE, WHO HELP MAKE THE SRGC THE BEST GARDEN CLUB

A Scottish Rock Garden Club Weekend is ELEGANT

Our President Ian Young shares a glass of wine dinner, with two of the guest speakers, Jim Archibald and Michael Kammelander.

Ian turned to his left and found Jenny and John sharing a joke.

While Glassford was entertaining Helen and Maggi

Who greatly appreciated his company

All the above were typical of the friendship and fun at one table during the Saturday evening dinner.

People come from all over to the Discussion Weekend. Many attend every year.
David was one of the speakers. He encouraged us to use square pots to sve space and work in the Alpine House. He and Jean saved effort by sitting close to the bar!

Brain and Jo talking about garden clubs with Peter conclude that there is no other Club quite like the Scottish Rock.

John and Jack listen while Ian translates Tam O' Shanter for them.

Fred keeps up appearances, while Sandy has discarded his jacket and Scott asks 'What tie?'

Dora points out to Wilf that the photographer appears a little unsteady!

Dave and Ian enjoy the entertainment.

When Santa made a surprise appearance Susan wanted to explain her last year's Christmas list.

Gentleman Jim drinks to the success of the evening.

Jim and Chris are properly dressed for the occasion. What a pity the SRGC Council does not brush up as well as the AGS duo.

BORDER LINE. Friends from North of the border, south of the border on either side of Anne who live nearest the border.

Ron from even nearer the border claims that Discussion is thirsty work.

Gwen seemed to find a rest was necessary.

Lastly Roger and tThelma have been coming to our weekends for longer than most members.

Be like them.

COME TO ELGIN IN 2003
